The purchase of machinery and other equipment in the United States and Canada often poses a problem to the Polish receiver with the execution of the actual contract between themselves and the shipper.
Sometimes, the shipper interprets the terms “Ex Works” very literally, expecting the buyer to simply pick up the machinery from their location while the item is not properly prepared for ocean transport. In such cases, I.C.E. Transport is able to take care of all the arrangements starting with the pick up and loading onto our trucks, preparation of the cargo for ocean transport (crating, shrink wrapping), loading and blocking and bracing in containers or loading onto RO-RO vessels.
